A Note from Ms. Hayward
Creature Quest
We had some very special visitors today! We went to our creature quest presentation where we learned all about some animals including the frog, turtle, owl, snake, and rabbit. We learned some really cool facts about each one and students got to ask questions. At the end we got the opportunity to touch most of the animals! The students had so much fun!
Math
Today we completed a page in the math workbook where students had a hundreds chart. They had to start at one number and colour a path to another number. Then they had to tell me how they got there (I moved 3 to the right and 2 down). Then they had to make another path using a different way.

UOI with Language Focus
Today students wrote their spelling test! They have been sent home to signed and returned. Then we read another chapter of our novel study book and students completed the corresponding comprehension questions.
Physical Education
Ms. Yustin was away today so we did some Just Dance videos in class.

Unit of Inquiry
Today students finished their animal fact sheets. They worked with their partner to use the information cards to fill out the sections for each of the 4 animals.
Have a great long weekend!
