Today students worked on some practice pages to review our 3D shapes! They reviews the names of the shapes, what a face, vertice and edge is and how many each shape has. Then they had a cut and paste activity where they had to match the picture of the shape with its name. Finally, they had to circle the shapes that could roll, stack and slide. The review package for this unit has been sent home and is due next Friday. Our unit test will be on Friday.

UOI with Language Focus
Today students wrote their Ontario Writing Assessment on journal writing. We have been learning about journal writing for the past few months and have practiced including elements such as title, date, sentence starters, introduction sentence, punctuation and detail throughout! After, we read another chapter of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and students answered some comprehension questions.
