Daily 5
- Students had time this morning to work on their cursive, do some free writing or reading to themselves or a friend.
French
- We had french with Mlle Jessica. Please see her blog at http://mllehousja.blogspot.com
Math
- We went over some questions from the review together on the board. Students got to come up to the board and do the problem for their classmates to see their thought process. They did a great job!
Gym
- Please see Ms.Yustin’s blog at https://sjaayustin.blogspot.com
Inquiry into Language
Unit of Inquiry
- Today we went over retelling stories again. We discussed what an opening sentence is and why it is important. We came up with an opening sentence together that would catch the audience's attention for the story of the Three Little Pigs. We also discussed that during a retell we are using our own words, not copying straight from the book. We will continue to work on the retell package at school tomorrow so please be sure your child brings it back in their agenda bag.
Unit of Inquiry
- Today students worked in their groups to create posters that will go at the table they will be responsible for at the market. They did a great job!
Have a great evening! :)
